We are asking
Wicor skate park in Portchester and Stubbington skate park are both looking tired and in need of replacement. We would like you to tell us what makes a good skatepark so we can work with a designer to create something that meets the needs of everyone.
We want to hear from skaters, riders, and the whole community about what makes a great space to skate, scoot, and BMX.
Tell us:
- What features you'd love to see
- How the space could be improved
- What makes a skatepark fun, safe, and inclusive
Take part in the survey until 1 December 2025 and enter the prize draw to win a £30 online skate shop voucher!
What can you Influence?
Your feedback will help inform the initial designs for the skateparks.
What can't you Influence?
There are a few things we must consider that will impact the final design of the skateparks which cannot be influenced:
- The space available
- Health and Safety requirements
- Materials - the improved features will need to be made of concrete
- Budget

Once the design contract has been procured and awarded, feedback from this consultation will be used to help inform designs. Further consultation on the final design proposals for the sites will be carried out in Spring 2026.
