From 15 May to 10 June, we carried out a consultation on two proposed designs for the Stubbington and Wicor skate parks. The Let's Talk Fareham Facebook group actively promoted both the consultation and engagement events, helping to reach a wide audience.
Overall, this was a highly successful campaign, with 520 residents voting for their preferred design. The consultation included a mix of pop-up events, in-person engagement sessions, and online participation opportunities. Fareham College also supported the process by hosting voting boxes on site.
We did
We've had some great discussions with current and potential skate park users, who provided valuable insights into what would work best for Fareham's community. The results are currently being collated, and a decision on the final designs is expected soon.
