We're improving Wicor Recreation Ground Skatepark in Portchester, and your opinion matters. We asked you to review the two designs and pick the one you think will bring the most fun to our community.

From 15 May to 10 June, we carried out a consultation on two proposed designs for the Stubbington and Wicor skate parks.
Overall, this was a highly successful campaign, with 520 residents voting for their preferred design.
The consultation included a mix of pop-up events, in-person engagement sessions, and online participation opportunities. Fareham College also supported the process by hosting voting boxes on site.
We did
Following our consultation on the proposed new skate park at Wicor Recreation Play Area, there was a clear preference for Design A, which was selected as the basis for the final scheme.
The design was then further refined following feedback from Declan Brooks, Olympic BMX Bronze Medallist, and Noah Tiller, Portsmouth based professional scooter rider ranked among the world's top 20 riders. Their input helped shape elements of the skate park to ensure it provides an enjoyable and challenging facility for a wide range of users.
