Each year, the Council reviews its finances carefully, and this year’s Annual Budget Consultation is particularly important. Rising costs and economic pressures mean it is costing more to deliver the same core services.
We are inviting residents to share feedback on the Council's proposals and priorities for planning their budgets.

The consultation responses were considered when the 14 February Council meeting set our budgets and Council Tax for 2025/26.
The majority of the responses received were looking for us to explore new opportunities for generating income, this is our focus and priority and are working on a number of opportunities projects which will help us do this.
