We are asking
All councils in England have been asked by the Government to reorganise. This means that Hampshire County Council and all the District and Borough councils, including Fareham Borough Council will be replaced over the next few years.
We are working with Gosport, Havant and Portsmouth councils on a case for a single Unitary Authority to cover all our boundaries. Some have suggested that Locks Heath, Park Gate and Sarisbury wards could be split from the Borough of Fareham and join a new Unitary Authority with Southampton and Eastleigh.
We don't agree with this but want to know what our residents think.
