Fareham Borough Council held a face-to-face consultation event to present proposals for the development of a solar farm installation on land North of Hook. The event forms part of the Council’s public engagement activity ahead of submitting a planning application for the scheme.
The consultation event took place on Tuesday 24 February at Victory Hall, 27 Warsash Road, Warsash (Hook Room) between 5pm and 7pm with over 40 residents in attendance.

A solar farm is an area of land with rows of solar panels that generate clean electricity from sunlight. It’s a low-impact way to produce renewable energy. The proposed scheme aims to support the Council’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and increasing renewable energy generation across the Borough.
Residents are encouraged share their views on the proposals.

Paper feedback forms are also available from the civic offices during opening hours.
